Evie Font — Jennifer Gordon Design

Evie is a font suitable for body copy that also shines in headlines with a feel that’s friendly, organic, and full of subtle personality.

The problem: Although there are many fonts available, many organic fonts are too heavy on personality and can only be used in headlines. There is a need for more versatile fonts that are usable both for body copy and headlines.

The solution: Evie is a friendly, organic font that fits well in a variety of scenarios. From branding to packaging to text, Evie is neutral enough that it doesn’t overshadow the message in copy, while full enough of personality to add a bit of playful charm.

The thinking: Evie is sweet and playful. Ball serifs replacing traditional serifs in some instances, creating a soft, warm feel. The font is spacious and rounded, contributing to a sense of organic forms. A vague sense of nostalgia is recalled by the diagonal axis on rounded forms which is often seen on retro serifs. It is friendly and personable, pairing well with soft colors or illustrations. Evie’s friendly, organic, and subtle personality offers the warm welcome your design’s message needs.
